PA1: Problem identification and definition study

Within this programme activity, researchers and planning practitioners will develop a joint problem analysis. The purpose of this exercise is to secure different organisations´ ability to make use of the project results. The problem analysis is then used to develop objectives and specify improvements that can be made.

Key questions of this programme activity is:
What are the challenges and difficulties facing a city that would like to…
…become significantly more cycle friendly?
…achieve a higher proportion of cycle trips?

The problem identification and definition study activity includes e.g. a questionnaire survey of 235 respondents and 15-20 interviews with Swedish and international researchers as well as transport and city planners.
